This site offers birders of all levels and interest a complete source for birding information what kinds of birds can be seen and where. Tips on attracting birds to the backyard is also a popular topic. A discussion forum is a fun place to share bird sightings, discuss other related topics, meet other birders in a friendly and open atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to have a part from contributing records and photos or writing articles and sharing knowledge for the benefit for both fellow bird enthusiasts and the birds themselves.

Although the park surrounding the lake is busy with walkers, joggers and cyclists, it still affords some good birding opportunities especially early in the morning and on weekdays when it is not so busy.
